The hospital dream
I was a patient in a hospital for unknown reasons. I was hooked up to machines but I felt fine. The nurses were so busy that they offered to pay me if I would keep an eye on my own machines. I accepted, since I wasn't doing anything else and they clearly needed my help. All I had to do was make sure that the machines didn't fall apart and that the chords didn't get tangled. Everything was going fine until another patient decided to keep hitting their emergency call button. For some reason, the nurses thought it was me and came into my room every time they heard the alarms go off. Each time they came into my room I told them that everything was fine and that it was another patient that needed their help. They finally figured out who was setting off the alarms and left me alone. After awhile a nurse came in and said, "It's time to take you off of these machines. Since you did such a great job, we would like you to work with us at the desk. You wont have to do much and you can rest any time." I accepted this job as well because I still felt fine and wanted to help. I went out to the desk and asked the nurses if they needed any help. They said that they were fine for the moment. I decided to walk around a little to stretch my legs and suddenly a group of employees ran up to me. I could see that they were all stressed about something so I asked them what was wrong. One of them said that they have two order forms that don't match up. I took a look at the forms and somebody had been very careless when filling them out. I said I could fix them but that it would take me a minute. All the employees wanted to stay and watch me though so that they could learn how to do it correctly. We all sat down at a table and I started to explain how to fill the forms out and what needed to be done to fix them. Each time I finished a section of the form one of the employees would erase what I wrote and tell me to explain it again. It actually didn't bother me that he did this. I thought it was funny and was happy to explain it again. I guess it was just the teacher in me. It took a long time to finish the order forms but when we were done everyone was relieved. I went back to the front desk and a nurse told me that I was being discharged to go home. They paid me for the work I had done and said that I was welcome to work with them at any time. I thought to myself, "This is the best hospital stay anyone could ask for. I didn't even feel sick and I got to help."

Second Dream
I was visiting Oklahoma (where I grew up) and everything was so different and strange. The backyard of the house that I grew up in was all water. All 5 acres was just water except a little land here and there. It was a nice day out and I decided to swim, even though the water was really muddy. Some of my friends were there too. While we swam a lot of trash and litter just appeared out of nowhere. I looked down and the ground under the water had a layer of glass, paper, and junk. Then I looked in the sky and saw a very old fashioned looking helicopter. It actually reminded me of a child's toy helicopter, because it was so colorful. One of my friends whistled for it to come over. Somehow we all got the same idea: use the helicopter's vacuum and suck all this junk out of the water. The helicopter came over and we started figuring out what we needed to do. We decided that two girls would stay under the water and use the hose from the helicopter to vacuum all the junk up. Then another girl would stay above water and make sure that the hose didn't get tangled. It was a big job and took a long time. Since it was taking so long we decided that we would take turns being in the water and out. When it was my turn to be under the water and vacuum, I panicked. I told the other girls that I didn't think I could do it. I couldn't hold my breath as long as they did and I would probably drown. After an argument and the girls getting mad at me, I gave in. I started by just trying to get all of the leaves vacuumed, because there were a lot of them. I figured if I could get the leaves out of the way then that would take care of most of the problem. After the leaves were gone, the rest of the junk could be seen more easily. It took awhile but I finally got all of the other junk vacuumed up. We all got out of the water then and watched the helicopter fly away. I looked at the time and realized I had to leave. It was going to be a three day drive back home and after all that work I was not a happy camper.

First dream
I decided that I wanted to be in a talent contest at my old church. I guess I felt the pressure from peers to do it because normally I would have said no. I am extremely afraid of being on stage. For whatever reason though I actually agreed to be in this talent show on the day of the talent show. This, of course, gave me no time to practice. I decided to sing a song from the hymnal. While everyone else was taking their turn on the stage I was looking through a hymnal for the song that I wanted to sing. I knew the song pretty well but I wasn't sure of some of the lyrics. The contents page of the hymnal gave the page number for the song. I turned to that page and found that it was missing. I started to panic so I ran into one of the classrooms and found a hymnal. I looked in this one and it also didn't have the song I was looking for. I decided to just choose another song, but I couldn't find it either. I was really worried now because it was almost my turn. I must have gone through ten hymnals and still couldn't find any of the songs I wanted. I couldn't even find any songs that I knew. When I came back to the stage it was my turn. The elders of the church were in a group discussing what to do because I hadn't been there when they called my name. I told them that I just won't be able to perform because none of the hymnals had the song I needed. Then one of the older ladies who had heard me said, "The lyrics are on the back of the program paper."
Welcome
Hello. This is my very first blog post and I am so excited! I created this blog because I often have very vivid dreams, which I find can be very entertaining. I'm not always the best at explaining my weird dreams so parts of them I might have to make up. The whole point is to use them to tell an interesting story and hopefully entertain. I'm just starting out so we will see how this works. I hope that you enjoy!
